Applying a quality paint sealant regularly will extend the life and beauty of your vehicle’s paint finish. Paint sealants shield the paint from UV rays, environmental pollution, and moisture PLUS your vehicle will look awesome. Paint sealants have better durability than conventional car waxes because they contains synthetic materials. Paint sealants are fast to apply and leave a long-lasting, high gloss shine.
Polymer based paint sealants contain man-made or synthetic ingredients, which last longer and are easy to apply. A paint sealant is made of polymers, which are composed of tens of thousands of synthetic particles that are linked together. When a sealant bonds to your vehicle’s paint, it forms a rigid shell. They are glossy and slick, but may not have the warmth and depth of a carnauba wax. But the advantage of a paint sealant is the durability. A premium paint sealant can last 4 to 6 months, sometimes longer and typically wipe on and off very easily.
There are different types of paint-sealants which can be applied by spraying them on to the paint surface and are mostly new generation SiO2 based sealants.
